"Until final disposition of the action" means until the case is dismissed, until the defendant is acquitted, until the defendant completes the defendant's sentence, or until the defendant's commitment is terminated and the defendant is discharged from supervision following a verdict of not guilty by reason of insanity pursuant to section 16-8-115.
