What does “Educator” mean in Utah criminal law?
"Educator" means a person who is: (1)(b)(ii)(A) employed by a public school district; and (1)(b)(ii)(B) required to hold a certificate issued by the State Board of Education or, for an audiologist or a speech language pathologist, an individual who an LEA employs and holds a credential from the Division of Professional Licensing in accordance with Title 58, Chapter 41, Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Certification Act, in order to perform duties of employment.
