What does “Nicotine” mean in Utah criminal law?

"Nicotine" means: (8)(a) a poisonous, nitrogen containing chemical that is made synthetically or derived from tobacco or other plants; or (8)(b) a nicotine analog. (Utah Code Ann. § 76-9-1101)
