What does “Sweepstakes” mean in Utah criminal law?
"Sweepstakes" means a game, advertising scheme, marketing scheme, or other promotion: (19)(a) that an individual may enter with or without payment of any consideration; (19)(b) that qualifies the person to win a prize; and (19)(c) the result of which is based on chance. (Utah Code Ann. § 76-9-1401)
