(1) No later than November 1 of each year, the Administrative Office of the Courts shall submit a written report to the Criminal Justice Appropriations Subcommittee and the Judiciary Interim Committee regarding expungement data for the preceding fiscal year, including: (1)(a) the number of petitions filed for expungement in the district, justice, and juvenile courts; (1)(b) the number of petitions granted for expungement in the district, justice, and juvenile courts; (1)(c) the number of orders issued for an automatic expungement by the district, justice, and juvenile courts; (1)(d) the total number of individuals for whom at least one automatic expungement order was issued by the district, justice, or juvenile court; and (1)(e) the total number of individuals for whom at least one petition-based expungement order was issued by the district, justice, or juvenile court. (2) No later than November 1 of each year, the bureau shall submit a written report to the Criminal Justice Appropriations Subcommittee and the Judiciary Interim Committee regarding expungement data for the preceding fiscal year, including: (2)(a) the number of applications for expungement received by the bureau; (2)(b) the number of certificates of eligibility issued by the bureau; and (2)(c) the number of orders for expungement received by the bureau.
