What does “Animal rescue” mean in Utah criminal law?
"Animal rescue" means a person that: (1)(a)(ii)(A) accepts companion animals for the purpose of finding a permanent home for each companion animal; (1)(a)(ii)(B) does not maintain a central facility for keeping companion animals; and (1)(a)(ii)(C) uses a system of temporarily fostering the companion animals in a private residence or boarding facility. (Utah Code Ann. § 76-13-215)
